Genip, Limoncillo, Ginepa, Chenet or whatever you want to call it grows on a tree called mamoncillo. It has a jelly like pulp that can be either sweet or sour depending on harvest (June-August). The fruit is high in Vitamin A and C, Calcium, Fiber, iron and antioxidants.
